The blood of Christ,
So strong and pure
Flows down the wooden cross,
The devils ploys add up to naught
But his defeat comes at a cost

He thought he’d won, his victory safe  The Son Of Man was dead
But God’s plan much more than that
His Son died in our stead

The great exchange, the love of God
Hid from Satan’s evil glare
Christ’s blood has purified us all
His tomb was cold, but bare.

The blood was shed, the price was paid
The prophet’s words ring true.
The bridge between our God and man
Has been restored anew.

So come you now, drink from the cup
And eat the bread of life.
The Son of Man has set us free,
His words cut like a knife.

“My God, My God where are you now
You’ve turned your back on me.”
But only to receive us all.
Such love, how can it be?

And so to all, the offer’s made
Grasp it now before the time runs out,
Before our King returns again.
Before the Angels shout.

He comes! He comes! On Snow White steed,
With fire in his eyes.
King of Kings and Lord of Lords
Inscribed upon His thigh

He treads the wine press of the fury
The wrath of El Shaddai
His spotless bride he gathers up
The judgement now is nigh.

So come you now, while there’s still time.
Please heed the Saviour’s call.
Your sins washed clean. Forever saved.
His love is there for all.
