10 Benefits of the Favour of God

By Dr Jerry Savelle

Benefit 01

The favour of God produces supernatural increase and promotion in my life.

“But the Lord was with Joseph and showed him kindness. He granted him favour in the sight of the prison warden.”
Genesis 39:21 (NET)

Benefit 02

The favour of God restores everything that the enemy has stolen from me.

“I will grant this people favour with the Egyptians, so that when you depart you will not leave empty-handed.”
Exodus 3:21 (NET)

Benefit 03

The favour of God gives me honour in the midst of my adversaries.

“The Lord gave the people favour in the sight of the Egyptians. Moreover, the man Moses was greatly respected in Egypt by Pharaoh’s servants and by the Egyptian people.”
Exodus 11:3 (NET)

Benefit 04

The favour of God increases my assets and real estate.

“About Naphtali he said: ‘Naphtali is abundantly favoured and full of the Lord’s blessing; he will possess the west and the south.’”
Deuteronomy 33:23 (NET)

Benefit 05

The favour of God produces great victories in the midst of great impossibilities.

“For it was the Lord’s intention to make their hearts stubborn so that they would be annihilated without mercy and destroyed, just as the Lord had commanded Moses.”
Joshua 11:20 (NET)

Benefit 06

The favour of God produces recognition, even when I seem the least likely to receive it.

“Then Saul sent word to Jesse, saying, ‘Let David be my attendant, for he has found favour in my sight.’”
1 Samuel 16:22 (NET)

Benefit 07

The favour of God gives me preferential treatment.

“And the king loved Esther more than all the other women, and she found favour and kindness with him more than any of the other virgins. So he placed the royal crown on her head and made her queen instead of Vashti.”
Esther 2:17 (NET)

Benefit 08

The favour of God grants me petitions, even by ungodly civil authorities.

“If I have found favour with the king, and if it pleases the king to grant my petition and to fulfil my request, let the king and Haman come to the banquet that I will prepare for them tomorrow, and then I will do as the king requests.”
Esther 5:8 (NET)

Benefit 09

The favour of God causes policies, rules, regulations, and laws to be changed to my advantage.

“If the king is so inclined, and if I have found favour in his sight, and if the matter is right before the king, and if I am pleasing in his eyes, let an edict be written to revoke those documents which Haman the son of Hammedatha the Agagite wrote to destroy the Jews who are throughout all the king’s provinces.”
Esther 8:5 (NET)

Benefit 10

The favour of God will win battles that I won’t have to fight because God will fight them for me.

“For they did not conquer the land by their swords, and they did not prevail by their strength, but by your right hand, your arm, and the light of your face, for you took delight in them.”
Psalm 44:3 (NET)
