Alpha is a relaxed, no-pressure space where you can explore the big stuff, ask anything, and share your point of view. No preaching. No judgment. Just real talk in a safe and welcoming environment.

It’s online every Thursday night (commencing June 5th), it’s free, and everyone’s welcome.

What do we talk about?

Alpha is a space where people from all walks of life can explore faith, ask big questions, and have meaningful conversations.

Each week, we’ll watch a short video that dives into the big topics—like “Who is Jesus?”, “Why and how do I pray?”, and “How does God guide us?”

The talks are designed to spark conversation and unpack the basics of the Christian faith in a way that’s engaging, honest, and relatable.

When is it?

Alpha runs online every Thursday night from 7–8:30pm for 11 weeks (5th June - 14th August).

Once you’ve signed up, we’ll send you the meeting link each week so you’re good to go.

There is also, one special meeting (9am-3pm) at Breakthrough Church on Saturday the 19th July. This is available both online and in person.

What if I’m not sure it’s for me?

That’s totally fine. We always say, “just try Alpha.” It’s not a big commitment—it’s simply an invitation. Jump on one Thursday and see what you think. If it’s not your thing, no worries at all. No pressure, no awkward goodbyes—we promise.

Do I have to talk?

Nope. While we do open up space for conversation, you’re welcome to just listen in. Share when you’re ready—there’s absolutely no expectation to speak.

What if I can’t come every week?

Life gets busy—we get it! If you miss a week here or there, that’s okay. We encourage people to come consistently to get the most out of it, but you won’t be left behind.

Do I need to be a Christian to come?

Not at all. Alpha is designed for anyone who’s curious about faith—whether you’ve been to church once, never, or a hundred times. If you’re exploring who Jesus is or what Christianity is all about, you’re in the right place.
