Rapid Fire
  1. What's the weirdest food combination you enjoy? If you've listened to the first ever message I preached at BCC, you'll know I like to taste all food separately so I couldn't tell you my weirdest. However, something odd about me is that I love dough or cake mixture and am always more excited for that and NOT the icing. I'll happily eat plain cake or donuts without icing. Too sweet.

  2. If you could be any character from Star Wars, who would you choose? Mace Windu! He's the best and easily the coolest character in Star Wars.

  3. What's the most adventurous thing you've ever done? Bleaching my hair and going blonde (I'm very adventurous).

  4. Board games or video games? Video games all the way, but I do love playing board games as well.

  5. What's your signature dance move? The “dislocated elbow”. Basically standing there while my arm/elbow fling around the place.

  6. What's the most interesting place you've ever visited? I was blessed to be able to travel to the US/California and went to the Sierra/Nevada mountain ranges. Beautiful place and amazing scenery and the snow was really soft!

  7. Breakfast for dinner or dinner for breakfast? Easily dinner for breakfast. Breakfast is great but I love curry and steak too much.

  8. If you could have a conversation with any person, dead or alive, who would it be? Chester Bennington, lead vocalist of Linkin Park. Didn't have an easy life, but he made a lot of great music I loved growing up. Would love to just have a conversation with him.

  9. What's your favourite way to unwind after a long day? After a long day I love to unwind by playing video games, particularly fantasy games. Really cool just immersing yourself in a made up world.

  10. Star Wars or Lord of the Rings? Definitely a tough decision! However, Star Wars can't be beat.
The Deep-End

Have there been times when a specific Biblical principle or lesson from Breakthrough Academy has guided you in making important decisions in your life?

Definitely the principle of being planted somewhere and growing/prospering. There have been many times during my life when something has happened or I've had to make a decision and often it could have uprooted me and taken me somewhere else, but actually staying put where God has you is hugely important. I wouldn't have had the opportunities that I have had if I had not stayed at Breakthrough. God wants to bless us and increase us and that will happen when we are planted and being obedient to His call.

Share a moment when your Life Group became a source of encouragement and inspiration for your faith journey.

I love life groups! It's so amazing to be doing life with close friends that you can connect with outside of church on Sunday. Having people who understand you and care about you and what you're going through in life is such a blessing and I'll never not want to be in life groups. Specifically though you realize that the same people are often going through what you are or have dealt with it before so they can give such encouragement and God thoughts and perspectives that I wouldn't have considered had I not shared personally with them. Not only helps me in my faith, but it builds really good and close bonds that I know are for life. I wouldn't be who I am or where I am without my life group.
