March 1st marked the 10-year anniversary of one of Breakthrough's greatest miracles.
So we stop and celebrate God's faithfulness....

Putting the Church up for Sale...

We had been praying and asking God to provide a new building for our Church for 10 years. We looked and looked and looked, but just couldn't find the right property.

Although we hadn't found a new building, God prompted Pastor Peter that it was time to sell our property. So the property was put on the market for an auction on March 1st.

In late January, the Real Estate Agent said there had been a couple of delays so we could move the auction back one or two weeks, with his suggestion being moving it to the 15th. There was no natural reason why, but we felt the date of March 1st had just "sat" really well in the Spirit - so we said to leave it on the 1st. 

Just two weeks before our auction, the Real Estate Agent was totally blindsided by an announcement of the change to a "green zone" to our property. Everyone was confused. He said all the developers who had expressed interest were pulling out. He was devastated.

The logical thing was for us to cancel the auction and wait until things had settled down, and developers had a chance to understand the new rule's impact.

We prayed and felt to stay with our auction.

The Day of the Auction...

The Real Estate Agent brought in a whiteboard and listed three amounts: (1) acceptable sale price, (2) desired sale price, (3) the lottery sale.

Pastor Peter asked if he could make an adjustment to the board... he changed (3) to the FAVOUR sale price.

Somehow, God gave us the perfect window for the property to sell. Two developers wanted the property NOW so they could get in with their bids to council just before the changes were implemented. Selling two weeks later could have been too late and we might have had no buyers. But the two buyers went into a bidding war and kept pushing the price up.

We ended up selling for ABOVE THE FAVOUR AMOUNT! The agent was astounded. We had set a record for that type of property in the area.

The Real Estate Agent told us later that he thinks the two bidders might've actually been connected (aka: from the same company) and they were unknowingly bidding against each other. We can't be certain about this. And in the end, we didn't care - God had caused a bidding war to push our sale to record levels.

31 Michellan Court

God was faithful with the auction... and then was faithful to provide a new property!

Pastor Peter received a phone call from a Real Estate Agent who had a new warehouse in Bayswater (Michellan Court, to be exact) which had just become available. He asked if we might be interested. We were!

Looking back at this amazing testimony fills our hearts with SO much joy and gratitude... but the greatest thing is knowing that the BEST IS YET TO COME! Breakthrough's greatest chapters are still being written.

Let us leave you with this...

If God was faithful to do ALL of this in order to see us in 31 Michellan Court... Why did He do it? Why did God orchestrate such an amazing miracle so we would leave Fulton Road, Blackburn, and come to Bayswater?

We think it's because we have an assignment to be a LAMP-STAND in this community!

God didn't just want to take the Israelites OUT of Egypt, He wanted to take them INTO the Promised Land.

And when the Israelites found themselves at the Red Sea and there seemed to be no way forward... God split the waters. When they were hungry on the journey... God provided manna. When there was war... God brought victory.

Where God guides, He provides!

God has called us here. God will provide all we need to be here. 

So let's fulfil His assignment and see revival come to this community.
